‘Pinkie’ Linen Protectors

‘Pinkie’ pads act like a saucer in a sense that the moisture is absorbed through the surface to the soaker pad and held in by the waterproof barrier. The X2534P and X2534PW has a polyester top that helps provide a stay dry surface, whilst the 'rest of the Pinkie' pad range have a cotton/polyester top providing a natural sleeping surface.

Although the sizes vary from small to large, they are all of the same construction. First is a non-irritant surface next to the skin: its special weave gives a soft, comfortable feel whilst allowing fluid to pass through quickly. Secondly, there’s the middle soaker layer designed to absorb fluids, and the final layer is the waterproof barrier.

This means that other methods of waterproofing are no longer necessary. Plastic and rubber sheeting and most importantly the irritating smell are all disposed off in the laundry!

These pads are completely different in both construction and operation from the ‘Drycare’®™ Absorbent Bed Sheet

Absorbent Bed Sheet

The ‘Drycare’®™ Absorbent Bed Sheet acts as a “blotter” in the sense that it absorbs moisture. When combined with a waterproof sheet that is placed under it, the bed Sheet draws moisture away from the skin holding the moisture within the sheet. The sheet itself consists of two layers of fabric, which are quilted together. The one closest to the skin is made out of brushed polyester which provides a stay dry surface whilst the second layer is made out of needled rayon/polyester. “Wings” or flaps are attached to each edge for tucking under the mattress to keep the sheet in place. The wings used in the Drycare Absorbent Bed Sheet are heavy duty constructed from 100% polyester which will last longer than a poly/cotton wing flap.
